I spent most of my adult life drifting through life.

I allowed life to happen “to me” & in so doing, remained in the posture of passivity & victimhood.

I numbed my pain through countless distractions, & wondered why none of these things provided the satisfaction I longed for.

I constantly sought validation outside of myself & got angry at the world when nothing & no one could fill the bottomless pit inside my heart.

Usually that outward rage would inevitably turn inward, & as a result I often felt pretty terrible about myself.

So many people live their lives this way & wonder why they feel empty & their relationships don’t work.

Eventually I caught a few temporary glimpses of what living with purpose felt like when I was able to connect with a deeper & more grand vision - one that connected my body, my mind & my soul to Source through embodied action & service. But over time, those things eventually ran their course, & I found myself back at the same familiar place of emptiness & drift.

However, once I had gotten a chance to live a felt sense of alignment & Source energy coursing through me & I knew I had to find it again.

Purpose is the magic sauce in a person’s life that connects us to Source energy & allows us to build our kingdom in earnest. Once this piece is in place, everything else in person’s life begins to line up behind that purpose.

The 9 months of intensive coaching training I’ve done, along with many hours of supporting clients, have profoundly changed me.

I’ve worked through a lot of blocks & limiting beliefs, & continue to do so (it’s an eternal process, really). I’ve learned how to face challenges in a whole new way, have built up my somatic body & greatly expanded my window of tolerance. I’m able to hold so much more than I ever have before. My practices have deepened. My focus, presence & grounded energy is noticed by those close to me.

The sense of purpose, passion & direction I feel is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in my life.

Now life happens "through me".

I got a message from the sister of a client yesterday, thanking me for the work I’m doing with her brother. She said, “Keep doing what you’re doing…It’s making an impact!”

When we make a commitment to ourselves to do our inner work, to face the uncomfortable & hidden parts of ourselves, to regulate our nervous systems, to deepen our practices & refine our embodiment, *the people around us notice*.

When we do this work - whether it’s with a coach, a therapist, in a men’s or women’s circle, or even on our own - *we are literally making the world a better and safer place* - for our partners, our children, our parents, our siblings, our friends, our co-workers, & anyone who we come in contact with. It can even be said that by facing & dismantling the insidious inertia of generational trauma, we heal our ancestors & our descendants, simultaneously.

Obviously, doing healing work is immensely accelerated when done in the company of trusted others. Ideally those trusted others are properly trained as well. We are social animals, & we heal relationally.

If you’re already on a healing journey, I acknowledge you for your courage & dedication - not only to yourself, but to all the people whose lives are touched by your own, present, past, & future.

ODE TO MAMA GANJA -

I owe this plant so much. I’m eternally grateful for her.

This incredible, beautiful, & supremely intelligent being has given me so much - comfort, community, purpose, lifestyle, culture.

She has been there for me throughout so much of my life. She was a warm blanket at many times in my life when I needed comfort. She makes music sound so rich. She helped me to really get into my body. She opened doors for me & gave me a life full of adventure, fun & freedom.

It’s harvest time here in Nevada County & our community is now at a crossroads. A lot of people are rightfully terrified about this. Our industry, our families’ incomes, & our life’s work have evaporated.

We are a community of misfits & outlaws - highly passionate, dedicated & intelligent people. Many of us - myself included - found the ganja path as a way to make our way in a world that didn’t make sense to us & where we had trouble fitting in.

We are now being asked to leave our nest of comfort, spread our wings, & fly forth into the world to spread our gifts & the medicine of who we have become - everything we have cultivated within & without - with the rest of the world.

This plant has always had a very clear agenda & I have no doubt that this has been part of her plan all along.

I took a leap of faith this year & dove deep into a training to help other people break through their own limits & create lives of deeper meaning & fulfillment & impact.

As I embark on this path, I feel especially called to support my community as we make this great transition.

BIRTHDAY POST SEPT 2022 & COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT

My father used to tell me: “Son, true happiness is achieved through helping other people achieve their goals.”

I never really understood what he meant until now.

This year, on my birthday, I am giving you, my community, the gift of myself. The gift of all the work I’ve been doing on myself, both inside & out, moving closer to finding & fulfilling my own purpose & path, so I can help others to do the same. The gift of the distillation & transmutation of my own trauma & pain & suffering into an offering of service, passion & purpose.

This year I’ve dedicated myself to a life of service, helping people to break free of the inner & outer shackles that bind them & begin to live the lives they truly desire & deserve.

This year I enrolled in the Elementum Coaching Institute which is 1 of the most rigorous & comprehensive coaching trainings available anywhere.

I’ve spent the last 6 months logging hundreds of hours studying, reflecting, training & practicing. Uncovering & facing shadows & uncomfortable spaces within myself. My teachers Christine, Stefanos, Preston & Alexi have given me the tools & techniques - & the structure & framework in which to embody those tools - to help you live your own embodied truth.

The clients I have already been working with are seeing big results in their lives already.

I am especially excited to work with other men who are in or who are shifting out of the legacy cannabis industry & who are seeking to create more richness, purpose & focus in their lives.
